In on August, 2026 the Joyland Restoration Ministries team traveled to Karamoja, to deliver food supplies to families facing severe hardship in the region.
Karamoja remains one of Uganda’s most food-insecure regions, where prolonged dry seasons and limited access to reliable farming land leave many families struggling to put a meal on the table especially children. Through the generosity of our donors and partners, Joyland was able to respond directly to this need.
Our team delivered few bags of maize flour, beans to families across over 10 households , Alongside the distribution, our team spent time with the families, praying with them, listening to their needs, and sharing the hope of the Gospel.
Moments like these remind us why this work matters not just meeting a physical need, but showing God’s love in a tangible way.
This relief effort is part of Joyland’s ongoing Karamoja Relief Campaign, and we are committed to returning to support these communities as resources allow.
